Is it possible?

This fall, I'll be a high school senior, and I'm a little confused as to what is and isn't possible, and where I should go.

My goal is to double-major in English Education (some of the schools I'm considering have undergrad education programs; others do not) and Psychology, and if time allows to have a minor or two as well.

I'm currently looking at 14 schools (gasp), but I don't know how well these schools will fit my needs. Some of these schools have been recommended to me through different websites, friends, counselors, and others I have found on my own. They're split between California and New York--it's too early to decide whether I'll come home and teach in California, or start a new life somewhere else.

The list:
[ul]Syracuse University
[]University of San Francisco
[]University of the Pacific, Stockton
[]CSU Long Beach
[]San Diego State University
[]Dominican University of California
[]Saint Mary's College of California
[]CUNY City College, Brooklyn College, Hunter College
[]Ithaca College
[]Wagner College, Staten island
[]Concordia University Irvine
[li]San Jose State University (closest to home)[/ul]
[/li]

Some of these schools have good programs. A couple of them are reach schools, but a couple others kind of match my profile. I'm a B-average student, and I'm shooting for a 30+ on the ACT when I retake it this September.

If you do really want to be a teacher you must look for a school with an English education option. If there is no program for it, then you won’t be able to do it! Next you’ll want to decide what is more important the ee program or psych. This may make a difference when looking at schools.
Next you may want to decide which state because it will a difference in cost and if you are becoming a teacher, big salaries are rare. I stayed in-state because the difference in the prices was huge! But this is a personal choice so choose wisely!
There are a lot of options out there for education but just make sure you will be happy not only at your school but with your major!
Good luck!
