Is it possible?

Is it possible to double major in Political Science and Finance?

bump.... can anybody give me their opinion on this?

Of course, if your motivated enough you can do it with honors!

Best of Luck :)

Why wouldn't it be possible? Of course the mechanics depends on where you go to school. If there are a large number of distribution requirements/core courses, it might be necessary to go beyond four years, but that is true for any double major at such schools. Generally, people double major all the time. A few even triple major.

If political science and finance are at different colleges at a given university, you would have to clarify with the school how this can be done. If you are admitted to the university itself, I see little difficulty. But if you are admitted separately to particular colleges, you need to find out how it works.

I actually thought about majoring in both of these-finance and political science. and then pursuing the joint mba/jd program. However, i decided to just major in political science since finance involved a lot of math. Also the two majors are dissimilar. I did not feel that i had to spend six years for a bachelor's degree (this is what would probably happen to you). However, it is possible, it would just take a lot of studying and a lot of motivation, and a lot of time. I could not do this because i was a student athlete. If you love both these fields, then do it. If you have any doubts, don't. You will save a lot of time, energy, and money in the process.

If you have the resources and desire you can double major in anything.... name a combination, it's possible.

Now if you have financial and time constraints, you will have to take a deeper look at the requirements and if they match up strategically to allow it to fit within your set parameters.
