Hello, I'm a highschooler who wants to apply... I have a problem though... About 6 months ago, I moved from Geneva, Switzerland, to Seoul, South Korea. I'll be graduating in Korea in Feb. 13. I was in 12th grade when I was in Geneva and my grades were pretty good. I was taking the IB course and all of them were at least 6 or more out of 7. I couldn't graduate, however, because I didn't have 4 years of highschool and my dad had to go back to Korea. My first SAT I score was 1760 and my second one was about 2040. I'll be getting my Dec. SAT I soon and I'll be taking SAT II next month. However, I have a huge problem. Basically, I've only had 3 years of school in Korea. And yet, I was put into a normal Korean class because the teacher said that the class intended for kids going to foreign universities since they've done something that I couldn't catch up. I'm not 100% sure but I think he was talking about AP... but those kids already took the test in their junior year so it wasn't a problem for me. And YET, he kept me in the normal class. When I inquired about how I'm supposed to keep my grades under control, he's like "oh, it's ok. Just take the mid-term and end of year test for formality. If you don't take it, we can't prove that you were in this school." So, I took it. Of course I messed it up. Now, before vacation, he gave out the grades. It was just as my scores came out on the tests. HE said that he couldn't DO anything about the grades and that I had to send them to my universities. ***??? I mean, then he shouldn't have said to me that everything will be fine! He was so insincere and so irresponsible! Now, I don't know what to do, since the grades were REALLY bad. I'm thinking about not sending my Korean scores and only sending my Geneva scores, saying that I was studying in Korea to experience culture and stuff. Do you think it will work? I mean, if I send my Korea scores, it'll definately act against me even if I explain. That's how bad it is... Well, I hope to hear from anyone who can help...
