Is it possible?

I really want to have a competitive score (at least 2200) on the sat. Right now I have a1960, but I didn't do any prep work and took it the same time as my ap exams, so i want to know if it is possible to get a 2200 if i take a course and retake the sat in oct.

my friend raised his score from 1980 to 2180 between january and may. it's definitely possible, especially if you felt the score did not reflect your abilities.

Yeah, when I told my teachers my scores they all gave me this look like, that's it?

My reading and math scores are in the high 600s and I want to raised them each by about eighty points. My writing score is low 600s, but I really don't care overmuch about that.

Yeah, you can totally raise the score. Start with some practice tests and see how you do. You might not need a course.

is it possible to raise 1500 to 1800 by studying hardcore over this summer?
P.S: i answered only 20 questions of CR for the first try, and omitted a lot for writing.

I went from a 1940 to a 2220, but I had a few years between the two tests. But even if you don't make it to that 2200 even a modest score increase would probably be worthwhile.

yes its possible! 192 PSAT to 2340 SAT! really take advantage of summer - and i just used some books, so i don't think an actual course is necessary

D-Yu, what prep books did you use? especially for CR(need to improve my vocabs and read faster)

Thanks for the input. Even a hundred point raise, 50 in math and 50 in reading, would be great, because that would put in me in the mid-low 700s for my math and reading and that would give me a decent shot pretty much anywhere

I have raised my score from a 1780...i know...abysmal by CC standards to a 2020.(took a practice test last week) this was over the course of like 2 months of having 2 2 hours study sessions a week. I am taking the SAT this saturday and I am hoping the gods are with me so i can score a 2050+. My goal is a 2130.
It used to seem so far out of reach but it feels pretty close now.

@ psp-fifa-fan - a combination of PR and Barron's 2400 - both have good vocab lists. i recommend PR to start out with tho
