To make billions of dollars in investment banking???

Hey,I can dream

Highly unlikely if you are working for someone else. If you want the real money (billions), you'll probably need to run your own business -- whether it's a private bank, hedge fund, or investment group.

What do you need billions of dollars for? Is there something you want to buy that you can't buy with a few hundred million?

Anyways, you CAN make billions in just about any business, if you start your own company and do well. Investment banking is no exception. Getting paid a billion is different though, unless you're a trader and get really, really lucky.

I think a few hundred million is enough to buy an island.

Australia+Canada

lol. it always makes me laugh when americans don't even realize Canada is bigger than the US.

I've met some who think it's smaller than Texas.

Oh, I realize. But they have our maple syrup. Sweet, precious syrup.

Actually after spending some time in the US and reading American stuff, I think I understand why Americans think Canada is tiny.

Whenever a map of the US is shown, the curvature of the globe necessitates having a little bit of canada in any rectangular picture of America. So after seeing enough of these it might seem as though Canada really is just a narrow strip north of Montana, or a little wedge above New York.
