To raise my score from a 1200(580M, 620R) from about a year ago to about a 1300? The problem is, I'm taking it in two weeks. Also, I'm going to need to review that math the most. What is the best way (if possible) to do this in such a short time?

^Do practice tests and it's very possible. My math shot up pretty high from doing practice tests.

yea, id say its doable cuz u probably improved automatically by reading books in CR, and M, just use grubers, its easy,u dont have to answer all Qs if u're having trouble with the hard ones in the back, just make sure u get all the easy ones right.

Thanks for the advice. I guess I'll be a shut-in for the next couple of weeks until the SAT so I can study lol.

u can go up 400 points if u try hard

definitely, just do a lot of math questions and see what type you are constantly getting wrong and review those concepts.

no..it is physically impossible sorry

Wouldn't it be mentally impossible? Bubbling in correct answers is doable for anyone, but knowing which ones are right is the problem for people like the OP.

Yeah, I didn't know the SAT required much physical effort. I guess I should be working on my bench press.

I can bench press 3 pencils now. I usually bring 4 pencils with me to the test though, so I still need to work a little more on that.

3 pencils? You guys are weak. I'm up to 12 right now.

Anyway... Hopefully I can do it. It's been about a year since I took it last. And, I scored a 620 on the reading there, but I scored a 30 on the ACT reading a few months later. So I'm hoping I can score high 600's or low 700's by now. If I could get a 610 or 620 on the math and a 690 or 700 on the reading, I'd be pretty happy.

You can definitely bring it up if you try hard. Practice, practice, practice. :)

dude,i really think u can do it,ur m is not even bad, 580 u can easily bring it on to 650s... just practice =D

u can skip 9-10 questions and get a 650. You can get that score just by plugging in for 1/3 of the questions. Go get em girl.

Thanks for the encouragement!

And...uh, Quix... I'm a guy haha.

^roflcopter

Alright, well I'm going to review all of the types of questions and concepts covered on the SAT until Friday, and I'll practice those kind of problems until the day before the test (October 4th). And of course, I'll review the reading and writing strategies during that time, but I don't need as much help on those. I just hope that will be enough to pull me up to a 1270-1300....
