Is it Possible?

Is it possible to get into a school like Yale or Princeton or Stanford with scores of 700, 700, 750 on the SATs? I'm pretty sure it's too low... What if the person has really good transcripts and extra curriculars, then?

700 Writing
700 Reading
750 Math

That isn't low at all . . . It shows you're well rounded in at core subjects.

Okay thanks.
I just wonder because it seems like everyone is a perfect 2400 at those schools.

not even close

It's not going to help you, but if you're really strong in other areas, it's certainly possible, especially for Stanford, which has a reputation for accepting applicants with lower numerical stats but other attractive things about them.

There is nothing to hurt you with those scores. For SAT, once you get to a 700+ position, higher scores don't help. It is just a checkmark for them to tick off. You make the hurdle in that area.

Now look at the rest of your package.
