that I like analyzing peoples' behaviors. As in how they will react to certain situations, their possible actions...words. Also is it normal that I like to use said knowledge to my advantage? Not all the time, just if I need something from someone.

I do it too.

My favorite thing is looking at people’s groceries in the check out line at the store. It’s always funny to see someone with diet foods who it’s obvious, don’t know how to diet well.

Depends on the amount of time you spend constructing those scenarios…

We all engage in active analysis of our peers, in every social situation. We also try to predict their behavior. And every person will use that in some extent for their advantage (whether it’s for asking a girl to prom, or not getting shot in the head)

But if it’s severe enough that you have to post a thread to question your motives… yeah… I think it’s a little psychologically twisted. :)

Ah…just be careful. In my experience screwing with people can lead to distrust…which isn’t surprising at all if you actually think about it. Really, analyzing behavior can be a great and interesting sport, but you just need to be careful to remember the boundaries of common courtesy. Some things should remain sacred, don’t probe more than you should. Above all that, try and look at things from a more objective angle. Sure, using your knowledge to get things from people can be morally acceptable in some circumstances, but really it would be far greater if you used your talent to help prevent conflicts and mend relationships.

Think long-term about what you want to achieve instead of simply reacting on a situational basis. I learned that the hard way… If you get into this mode of thinking too much it will end up being your reflex response to many situations, which is BAD.

I think the better question is: Who doesn’t do that?

Nonono, you see, sugar_sweet111 is a PRO. She could easily be (hypothetically) hired in the show “Lie to Me” as one of the detective. She’s THAT good.

Actually, I think comparing sugar_sweet111 to Simon Baker from “The Mentalist” is a better example. In social situations, she’s like a chessplayer, always analyzing the other person’s strategy and using it to her advantage. Man, I make her sound evil…

wow sugar_sweet111, i totally do the same thing and it really is fun! i always do it and its like i know exactly what someone is going to do before they do it… and no you definitely don’t have a psychological problem im sure cuz if you do then i do and i really don’t think i have a psycological problem lol

That’s the INFJ way!

who cares you freaks

Aww thanks you guys, I feel so warm and loved, hehehe

Look up the definition of psychotic. That’s not even close to it. Analyzing everything comes with being intelligent.

Anyone who feels this way should read White Noise by Don Delilo, the protagonist does that too. I too feel that way.

how about you go and jump off a cliff

Amazing.
You constructed a thread just to satisfy this social urge of yours.

callsliptitle- hate life much?
