Is it realistic to pull at least 4 on AP Psych. with one month of self prep?

Can I study for one month with prep book and pull at least 4 on the exam?

Someone please answer I have the same question, but am aiming for a 5 o_O

Yea it's possible

Yeah, I know a kid who self-studied for psych in addition to taking 11 other APs that year and got a 4. So, it's possible. Use Barron's as your prep book.

I studied for a day (~9ish hours), and made a four. All I did was read the book, and then I took a practice exam the morning of the test. It really is that simple. The AP exam is ridiculously easy..... If you study for a month, there is no way your not going to make a 5.

lol yea. i read like a prep book through in a week ~5-6 hours. got a 4 on the practice test with little effort.

you guys make me, a person who is actually taking the CLASS, feel bad

^You'll probably remember the information, or at least some of it, for years to come. I on the other hand, forgot every single thing within days following the exam. Cramming isn't great if you plan to retain what you learn.

The AP Psych test is not very hard at all to be honest. You can definitely self-study and do very well.

How do you guys who only studied for a day write the answers to the free-response questions? Don't they require thinking and deeper background in the subject?

^You pretty much just BS your way through them, and pay attention to what the review book says is the correct way to write them. The essays were definitely my weakest area on the exam, and I really feel they are what kept me from a 5.
