Is it really that expensive?

Hey everyone. I am applying soon to transfer from my community college to various universities. I was excited about NYU. It seemed like a great location for connections for my major. However, I keep seeing that they hardly give any scholarships and financial aid? My parents make 120k a year so does this mean if I was accepted I'd be paying nearly full price? I'm confused why this school is so popular if what i've been reading about the tuition is true...I'm probably just getting confused or something. Any feedback?

There are simply enough students who can afford to attend despite NYU’s not meeting full need for all students. NYU’s popularity is indeed increased because of NYC.

Answer is yes. Dependent upon your area of study, NYU does offer a supported type program for community college transfers which includes FA.
