Is it really too late for me to apply to boarding schools?

Hi,
I was attending a British international school elsewhere outside US
but after graduation(they graduate after year11 which is equivalent to sophomore in US)
I came back to my home country with my family because
my father's business was not doing well.
I am an international student but English is practically my first language so
I cannot go to a local high school here for I wouldn't understand a word they are saying.
I have been applying to some schools including the Linsly school and the Cranbrook schools
but all they've told me were that the spaces weren't available because I started applying
from middle of March.
and I really do need to get a financial aid.
I've been to SSAT website to find out about Schools Currently Considering Applicants even though it is already april but they did not update the latest information up there
so I really need your guys help.
oops, one more, I will enrol as a junior since I ve only finished sophomore.

Is there any boarding school that accepts students even though their deadline is closed
and even better is there any school that accepts more students and gives financial aids?
I've taken my first SAT reasoning test last jan and my scores add up to 1980.
I had good grades in Freshman year, mostly A's but I got like 5 B's in sophomore year out of 11 subjects. I did participate in many EC's and I've been working an English teacher here in my hometown ever since I got back here last year.
I have been playing the piano since I was five so it is quite good, gotta add:)

I wouldn't mind which state the school is located in as long as it is not too deserted and cold. I prefer Illnois, Indiana, Michigan, Florida, Georgia, Boston, West Virginia and Iowa.

Ok, that is all.
Thanx

no it isn’t necessarily too late; there are many schools which do not fill up all their spots in the first admission pool. If you call the admissions officers at some schools that you are interested in they might allow you to apply as a late applicant and be considered against the waitlist pool. But to have a real shot you would have to call those schools tomorrow and get your application in asap. preferably by april 10, the day most schools set as their deadline for accepted applicants to declare if they will be accept their offers and therefore the day the admissions officers will begin going through the waitlist pool. if your up to the task of churning out an application in the next couple nights i’d definitely consider giving it a shot.

I decided I wanted to apply to bs late this year and I called the AOs at several schools I was interested in (st georges, peddie, kent) and I was really surprised to find that they were more than willing to consider my application against the waitlist pool. So I would again really consider applying if you feel you can get your stuff in fast. good luck

@Effie93, if school will let you apply as a Late Applicant and add you to their Wait List pool, I would ask the school how realistic is it that an applicant might gain admittance from the pool. Some schools have ginormously vast WL and admit very few candidates from that pool.
