Thanks @emilybee, yes, I understand the enrollment in university insurance, the coverage/paying isn’t the first concern as much as actually being able to get in to see a doctor/med person. A friend said her kid with mono would show up at 8am to sign in for appt and several different days still wasn’t seen after waiting hours, they just closed. And if he had emergency in middle of night or day, tough. Seems odd, so trying to see how true that is from experienced folks on cc. I am assuming they have urgent care centers in town like Toronto does, so learning how an international can access them.
