Is it safe to order things online and send it to the dorms? more specifically Bowles Hall? How does that work? Does the FedEx person bring it to your room and ask for your signature or does someone intercept it before?

Thanks!

well, you won’t know which room you are in until move in day…

Yes. It is very safe. In Bowles, the foothill signs it for you. They will give you a notice in the mailbox [ground floor Bowles next to the library] that says you have a package. You go there and pick it up with your ID and slip from the mailroom at Foothill.

I never had things lost. Don’t worry about it. :]

Hello Bowlesman.

“Hello Bowles Hall!”

“Hello As*hole!”

Gotta love the Bowlesmans

does that mean that its the same for all the residence halls, like for the units as well?

Cal maintains a central receiving station for the units, from there it moves to the unit itself, then they will put a slip in your mailbox in the units telling you that you have a package waiting. It might add a few days to the journey but it will get there safely and reliably.

ahh okay thanks a lot guys! I like to order things online and this was worrying me although if it weren’t this simple it’d be a deterrent to spending money online. oh well =p
