lack of diversity?

I'm really scared of racism and discrimination, and i always feel that when I'm around a homegenous student body that I'll be discriminated against... Is there much or any racism at MSU? Are there any Indian (like from asia) clubs? if so, is there a URL that any1 could direct me to that displays these clubs, or perhaps the club website itself?

not stupid. It definitely is a valid question that minorities should take into consideration. However, I feel fair to say that MSU would be a great place for any minority, due to the massive amounts of student organizations tailored to foster inter-racial interaction. I am in MRULE (Multi-racial unity living experience- a campus-wide club that deals with issues of social justice (i.e. race, prejudices). There is the OCAT office (Office of Cultural and Academic transitions) that holds all sorts of cultural events within dorms. There are zillions of clubs (such as APASO-Asian Pacific American student organization) and all sorts of affiliates/subsidaries. Here's the list of all the registered student organizations.

The student body may seem a bit homogenous at first if you are used to a larger population of Asians, but you would be surprised at the diversity within. The other questions you asked I answered in the other thread-as usual, if you have any more questions regarding this you can also pm me if you feel more comfortable

I've heard of people experiencing such, though I wouldn't say it's a everyday problem... nor month. Just rare occasions, though I wouldn't let that stop me from attending a school. You also shouldn't have a hard time running into minorities of any group, and even if you weren't seeing minorities I wouldn't expect to feel out of place. As told/ heard by many... Michigan State University is a very outgoing and friendly campus.
