Is it technically possible for a student to get a dual degree in economics and ORIE?

I know that A+S and Eng. have dual degree programs but they are usually 5 years. Can ti be done in four with AP credit and hard work or not?

If you go to the engineering school, i'm not sure how long it'll take.. they do have financial engineering courses though.

If you go to A+S, you can double major and do math with a concentration in ORIE and major in economics.. which im sure you could do in 4 years with all the core requirements anyways

Not usually, unless you spend every summer at Cornell taking courses.

A dual-degree is not like a double major, you have to finish all the requirements for both an Engineering degree and an A+S degree, which are drastically different.

Why do you care though, Taskin? You're in ILR.

even if you're in ILR you have plenty of room in your electives to get a taste of ORIE...
