My sons status page says something like we have made a decision regarding your application, you will hear something within 1 or 2 weeks. Does it read like this one way or another, no matter if you were accepted or rejected? You would think they could sound a little more encouraging if you were accepted!!:) He was just trying to read between the lines but there wasn't much to go on!!

Hi ctmomof3! I don't think the message is different when you are accepted versus rejected. However, when my S's status changed, about 2 days later there was a button where he could accept the offer and pay on-line, IIRC. Then he received his letter in the mail about 3 days after the change. So, perhaps that is the best he could do trying to read between the line waiting for the letter in the mail. What are your S's stats, if I may ask? GPA and SATs out of 1600 and major applying to?

hi my son got into another campus, he got the admissions packet today, but he only wants university park, is it easy to transfer to that campus? His GPA is about a 3.0 but SAT about a 1340. What do you think? He is interested in english and communications.

There is a guaranteed transfer into UP. If he maintains a 2.0 gpa (I think) for the first two years, he can finish at UP for the last two.
