Is it there really no place on the app to declare a major? Or list awards?

<p>Excuse me if this has been asked before or is an otherwise stupid question.</p>

<p>Is it just me or is Chicago just not interested in what you're majoring in when they consider you? I can't find any place on to actually write it down. Or mention awards for that matter. </p>

<p>Is it expected that they should be able to infer from your essays? </p>

<p>I wonder how they avoid ending up with a student body that is mostly econ majors then...</p>

Heh, I made it glaringly clear, including by making an unholy amount of references to Milton Friedman (who's works created my interest in econ and thus chicago).</p>

<p>My son included awards with his ec's, I believe. The online app doesn't seem to limit you on this.</p>
