is it time to panic? Barron's difficulty question

I know I know... Barron's is supposed to be way more difficult that the actual thing... I'm scoring like 30-34 raw scores on the Math 2C tests in the Barron's book and the test is coming up on Saturday... will I be looking at a high 600 low 700 come test day?

its also taking me like 1.5 hours to finish
ahhhh

you should definitely be doing timed tests at this point...I don't know what to tell you about your score though, sorry

yea, im having so much trouble with barrons, and im taking 2c on sat. im just hoping for the best :-)

I am currently taking Alg2 in math this Junior year. I will be self-studying pre-calc with a text book I recently bought. I will start preparing for the math 2c test probably around March after my SAT for the May test. If I work hard and score an 800 on one of the barrons test, will I score an 800 on the real thing 100%?...considering I don't feel sick or anything wrong happens.

No...just because you score an 800 on a difficult test does not mean that a slightly easier test (with different questions) will also give you an 800. You could easily miss a question. The chances would be good that you would score an 800, but definitely not guaranteed

Oh I see..

More like miss 7 questions. Because raw 43/50 = 800.

skierdude -
Barron's is quite hard compare to the real test. Don't panic. Also take into account a generous curve on the Math Level 2.
Try taking Sparknotes practice test from their website (somewhere in old treads there is an explanation how to get to it).
Sparknotes tests are a little easier than the real thing.
