Is it too hard to take intro bio and chem at same time?

I'm considering taking intro bio and chem during my first semester. Anyone have any encouragement/discouragement for me? Would it be too work intensive?

Have you looked at the Course Listings? I seem to believe that Intro Bio is only offered in Spring....unless you're talking about one of the Freshman Seminars. However, I could be wrong.

right, you can't take chem 111 (gen chem 1 basically) and intro to bio (like 2970 or something) at the same time, firstly because chem 111 is bio's prereq but also because chem 111 is only fall/summer and that bio class is only spring. most kids on a premed or bio major track do chem 111 first semester and chem 112 (i think) second semester, along with the first intro class in their bio series second semester. if you go to washu's current student's page, there's a link to course listings that is incredibly helpful.
