Is it too late for AP Bio?

I'm in an AP Biology class, and for my tests, I get A's but it's usually dumping info the night before and forgetting it after (we do almost 5 chapters a week). Is it too late to start cramming? Is there still hope for me getting a 5? Anyone have experience with this?

I hope not because thats what I’m doing. It really depends on how much you understand it. Its a lot to memorize.

If you only cram for certain sections there is a chance you get lucky and those sections are on the test enough for you to pass.

That’s what I’m scared of. That I won’t have enough time for all of this:(

Im in the same boat and from what others have said…no just use our spring break to REALLY do some major studying(thats what im doing)prep books should be enough for a 5

Use an AP review book. Cliff’s is recommended for AP Biology. Study and prepare with that, not with your Campbell’s book. The text book has more information than you need; the AP review book gives you exactly what you need to know.

I must say though, the diagrams in the Cliff’s book are horrible, so you may want to consult the Campbell’s book for figures, pictures, and diagrams.

Don’t cram. Pace yourself. Thoroughly read the subject areas that you are not confident in your understanding of (if this means ALL of it, then so be it). As you get closer to the exam date, re-skim through the entire book from front to back, and try to recall facts and information as you pass the headings. If you can’t, then read that particular section.
Then as you get even closer to the exam, do the practice tests.

Whatever you do, don’t cram.
