Is it too late for San Jac?!

I was accepted with top 8% back in November but I wasn't sure if I wanted to go there yet, so I waited for housing since I thought priority went to acceptance date. I turned my housing $50 fee in this week in a panic. Am I totally screwed?

I thought I read on here that San Jac has mostly upperclassmen. Who knows?

Curious: why would you prefer San Jac?

Freshmen get last picks with on campus housing. IF there is space in San Jac after all the sophomores, juniors, seniors picked, then freshmen will get it next.

Upperclassmen get room assignments by March 1. Freshmen get them in June-July.

Its a lot of luck.

What about Duren?

San Jac and Duren are usually preferenced first on people’s lists because they were built recently… but unless you applied and put your deposit down in the fall, it is unlikely you’ll get in.

Don’t fret though, all the halls have their own unique thing going for them, and anywhere that you get will be fun–if you put in the time to get to know the folks you live with.
