After being deferred from EA, I thought of a way to show them I have more to offer, by submitting the Art Supplement. I didn't know I qualified for the Art Supplement until I researched more about it (I didn't know photography and videos could count as "art" for some schools). Is it too late to submit the supplement? I already submitted my application and was deferred, so can I submit it as a "regular decision" applicant? Or, if I have to do it as "early action" applicant, is it too late to submit?

You were deferred because Harvard saw something in your application that they liked, but wanted to compare your file with a larger applicant pool.

When you submit an art supplement, your application is then compared to all other students who are also submitting a like-kind supplement. That means your photography and video samples must be at the professional level – meaning that they are good enough to submit to professional film or photography school programs such as NYU or USC. If your art is not at that level, your supplement might actually detract from the overall impression you’ve created and could sink your deferral. Only YOU can make that determination. Basically, if your film is one of these high school winners, or on par with one of these films, then submit it: <a href=“Finalists & Winners — All American High School Film Festival”>http://www.hsfilmfest.com/2014-finalists-winners. Otherwise, I would think very carefully about submitting an art supplement, as it’s Harvard – your work will be going head-to-head with some of the brightest and talented students in the world.

Thank you. I submitted a few of my photos and I consider >80% of them to be astounding AND unique. I considered submitting the best one into a contest or scholarship, but many of these have ended already.
