Is it too late to apply for any sort of internships/summer program for science?

I'm a junior in high school (NJ) and my major of interest is biochemistry. This year I applied for Gov School at Drew and for an internship at Coriell. Got rejected from Drew and I haven't heard from Coriell yet. I looked around a lot of sites and realized that most internship/summer program deadlines have already passed. Is there any program that anyone knows of that's still accepting applicants? If there isn't, what should I try to do this summer?

You can always try. If you don’t try you always fail.

Email professors directly

@ippo456 Yeah, I guess you’re right. :slight_smile:
@Hatshepsut What should I say? Just ask if they’re looking for an intern?

I still see over 8000 biochemistry related internships nationwide available, so it doesn’t look like it is too late yet.

Good luck!
