Is it too late to apply to another school?

I’ve been accepted to 3 schools (wentworth institute of tech, umass-boston, suffolk univ.) and I want to apply to another school (umass-lowell) because I heard its somewhat better for engineering.

But by the time I get my decision letter from umass-lowell, it will be past May 1st. And I need to deposit to a school I’m already accepted at by May 1st or risk having nowhere to go next year.

So if I do get accepted at umass-lowell, could I still deposit there or is that considered double deposit? How would I notify the school I’m not going there?

P.S.

Does anyone know if umass-lowell is significantly better in engineering than one of the three schools I’ve been accepted at?

<p>deposit in one school now and call them later and say you want to opt out. They keep your deposit though.</p>

<p>I don't think it really matters how you do it as long as you let them know. You won't have any association with that school anyways.</p>

<p>I heard somebody say that double depositing is bad. Would this be considered double depositing?</p>

<p>Since you have not been accepted in to the second school you would not be double depositing.</p>
