This is a wonderful site for parents like myself and their kids and this is my first post .Anyway, I hope it isn't too late to still apply to GW and be eligible for either merit or need based aid. I can't figure it out on the website. If one of you could help answer this for me I would appreciate it. Saw the school in the spring and was very impressed. My son would be applying to engineering program. Also are we at a big disadvantage by applying in January? Thanks.

@jerseymomof4 Just submit all the documentation, and the application, on time and it should not impact your eligibility for financial aid.
Thanks! What are you studying there and how do you like it and GW?
@jerseymomof4 I am currently studying history and political science. I have to say that I really enjoy the academics and the university itself. I have a very close relationship with a history professor, and he has really tailored my academic interests and influenced me as a thinker. Washington D.C. is an extremely exciting town to spend your undergraduate years in. I think the university is a hidden gem within the city, and there is so much to take advantage of. If you want any specifics about the academic or social life on campus, let me know.
Thanks, that’s nice of you. Glad to hear you are doing so well. What do you know about the computer science program?
