Is it too late to apply to LMU?

I know LMU is rolling admissions but I recently decided that I want to apply. Is it too late? I don't want to waste the application money if I'm going to get rejected regardless of my GPA, SAT, and ECs.

It’s not too late, and LMU is not too competitive. What are your stats?

GPA: 4.0 unweighted, 4.7 weighted,
SAT: superscored 2000

Many AP classes, a lot of leadership, community service, and work experience.

I am only applying to LMU because I think I am capable of getting a scholarship. What do you think?

Absolutely yes apply to LMU. You will at least receive the Arrupe Scholarship.

Do I have a shot at the full scholarship?

i think u shud aim higher…like USC or NYU. and yeah its not too late but send ur recs in asap

I am applying to some high ranking schools, but if I get a full ride to LMU, I would seriously consider going.

There are no full ride scholarships, but there is the full tuition scholarship. It is the presidential and only 20 students get it, I believe.

So, if I receive the highest ranking scholarship, I would still have to pay for room and board?

Yes, that’s true.

^ Not true. LMU offers the Trustee scholarship which covers tuition and room and board. They award 10 of these a year. They also award 20 presidential scholarships which are worth 22,500 per year. Both of these are selected after an interview, if you are invited too.

i know these posts were from a long time ago but i cant figure out how to create my own so im just going to ask my question here…is it too late to apply to loyola marymount now? I know it says rolling decision but there was also a date for regular decision deadline…help!

They have a deadline and admit until they are full. Rolling simply means they give you an admissions offer as it becomes available, and don’t hold all of their decisions until one release date.
