Is it too late to self-study?

Dear CCers,

I wanted to know whether it is too late to start self-studying for the AP exam. I didn't realize that AP could gain that much college credit!

It would be nice to self-study some exams and gain some college credit while I can. My question for you is.. is it too late?

if it isn't, are there any courses you would specifically recommend for self-study? what books should I buy? if you've got any advice/ideas id love to hear it.

thanks a bunch
bumble.

Yeah… I’ve thinking about it alot lately… and I don’t think I’m going to do it after all. =D I was actually planning on taking Ap Psych!

But thanks for the link. I can def. check it out, cause I’m taking other APs.

English Language?

I actually think now is the time to start self-studying. Two months is ample time to study for the easier APs.

Lemone; nope, im taking AP Econ micro/macro and AP Biology.

so i figured i could take on one more ap. but… my counselor wont let me. apparently, our school policy states that aps can only be taken if the school offers the course, and the student must take the course in order to take the exam.

so i cant take it. its quite a shame. setting limits on learning.

you still got time,
I recommend human geography at this point

That doesn’t mean you can’t take any AP exam(s) of your preference at another school.

ill look into human geo zala! thanks

sagert: not many schools in my country offer AP. but if i do try to take it at another school, how would i register for the exam?

Write to CB and ask them.

ok. thanks =]

If you have had a decent h.s. physics class, it is not hard to self study the extra you would need for the Physics B AP test.
