Hello everyone,
I am an international applicant from Israel. I applied to several Ivy league universities and as you probably know, there are less than two weeks for the decisions release.

I am a veteran and currently working for the secret service. Recently I managed to get a recommendation letter from a very high ranked figure in my field. My question is, in the light of my unusual backgrounds and the remaining time until the 29th, will I obtain any advantage by the submission of such materials?
Also, from the same reasons, I am considering to send my resume.

I appreciate your help.

You should contact the admissions counselor who is in charge of your region of the world, and ask whether this information is useful or not.

Email it NOW before their offices close. Call them upon email if you can’t get a hold of them and explain your situation.

Worst case scenarios they say it’s too late.

B’hatzlacha!!!

Thank you (and toda) for you answers.

Sababa! Haha I actually really do speak Hebrew though. :)

Definitely worth a shot. You don’t want to be waitlisted or rejected and then ask yourself “what if I had sent such-and-such in?”

Guess your’ right. Unfortunately, I have already been rejected from MIT on Wednesday. So I am kind of asking myself these questions. Thanks.
