Is it too late to start an ED app?

The deadline is Nov 15. I haven't even looked at it, let alone started on the essays. Is it too late to start?

Most importantly, get your teacher & guidance recommendation requests in ASAP. As far as the app, many students leave it for the last minute, but only you know the pace at which you work and how much time you need.

I haven't even started my essays, but I have gotten the recs lined up.

Tons of time.......especially if you have a school holiday sometime in there. Good Luck

don't worry, i'm doing ED too. We're all feeling the pressure. you'll be fine. nov. 15's not too bad.

Thanks everyone. CC rocks!

How exactly do recommendations work? Lets say I am applying to one ED school and 2 Early Action. All are common app. Do I just give them 3 copies of the common app recommendation? Or is it OK if they just fill it out one and make 2 other copies?

You can't apply to any early actions if you're applying ED somewhere...

Or at least I think so...

It will depend on the schools. If any of the EA schools are SCEA, then no, you can't apply to more than one school early. Some ED schools will specifically state that you may not apply early elsewhere. Otherwise, to my knowledge, you can apply ED to one school, and EA to another (or multiple others). Of course, if you are accepted to the ED school, you have to withdraw/turn down the EA schools.

can apply non-single choice EA only if you're EDing.

yea people seem to have this misconception that you can apply SCEA to one place and ED to another...you can't

HEy APPLY!!! My EA IS NOV 1, and for god's sake, i haven't started on my 4 essays yet. But I know I'll have them done. go for it!

Last year I applied ED with a nov 1st deadline, i did not even decide which school untill around oct 15th

and then i didnt start working on my RD apps untill after i heard from the ED school on Dec. 12th, well actualluy i waited untill after finals, so i started on like dec. 20th, and they all had Jan 1st deadlines.

it is never too late.. all depends on how gud an application can u make within the short span of time showcasing the best of talents and abilities

just don't do it after the fifteenth day of november. :D
