Is it too late to start applying for summer internships?

I'm a sophomore now wanting to get an internship this summer.

Am I too late?

No, it is not too late. Most schools’ Career Center are very busy with all kinds of activities at this time of the year. Career Fairs, company presentations, seminars about job/internship search, resume writing, etc are things that shall get one’s attention. Companies are starting to make summer interns offers but many are still looking. So get busy with your school’s Career Center.

This will depend on your school but typically on campus recruitment and interviews run till late March and early April.

It is definetly not too late. Check out your career resource center, find out when your career fair is, and lastly make sure you keep up and find out what companies are coming to your campus to give seminars or presentations.
