Is it too late? What should I do?

Hi,

I applied Early Action to UVA, go everything in on time, or so I thought. I went ahead and submitted by SAT score reports via College Board. I am retaking a subject test on November 8 so I ordered a free score report to send in 4 SAT test dates together. On my SIS page it says that I have not yet sent in my SAT score reports that were due on November 1. I realize that although I did order them, College Board has not yet sent them in to UVA because I have yet to take the November 8 test. Will my scores get to UVA on time? Do I have to re-send the scores that I already have? Or will I automatically be switched to regular decision? My guidance counselor told me that if I sent in my Nov 8 test scores they would get to UVA on time but now what I am seeing on my SIS page has me worried that I screwed up.

DeanJ addressed this on her blog. If you ordered the reports by the EA deadline, you are fine; the reports don’t actually need to show up by the deadline, and the subject tests are optional (but encouraged) anyway. They have plenty of applications to read in the meantime. If you did everything that YOU are required to do by the deadline, then there is no reason for them to defer your application to RD.

OK great, thanks a lot
