Is it too late?

Okay, I am going to be a senior next year and this year is almost over. I haven't taken the SATs yet and my average is currently a 85, this is mostly because of French and Math. In all my other subject areas, I have a cumulative average of 85 or higher.

Anyways, this year I am taking the following classes:

Pre Calculas
English
Algebra 2 & Trig.
Physics
AP US History
French (I hate this class)
Stocks and Investments (dropped it for 4th semester cause it was boring)

That's about it. 3rd cycle (semester) report card, I got all 85s except in English, AP US History, and French.

French, I got a darn 75.
AP US history, I got a 104 (since it's a weighted class).
English, I got a 95.

In my school, you can't get higher than a 95, because the grades go as E, G, S, and N (for failure).

So, I really want to get into NYU! That's my dream school and I really want to get in. Any advice? What should I do? next year, I have signed up for these courses:

AP Statistics
AP Physics
AP Economics
AP English Literature
Basketball :P

As you can see, I'm serious but am a bit late. My average would have been way higher if not for FRENCH, my cumulative Foreign Language average is a low 73 (lowest on my transcript).

Please, provide me with some advice.

Thank you.
