I just got a letter in the mail from cornell. Apparently I never sent them my sat scores. Is it too late now!? should i rush my scores for $26 extra?

i heard that rushing isn
t necessarily a good thing to do, since it would be received in paper and someone would have to type in the scores on the computer. but i don
t really know if this reasoning is valid.

do most schools recieve the scores through the internet then?

They wouldn't have told you they were missing your SAT scores if they didn't want you to send them. Yes, most schools receive scores through the internet. :)

I think rush reports are a waste of money. Anyone else know what they would do?

a related question. if a school doesnt accept rush sats, and you send them rush because other schools on your list do, will the school that doesnt accept rush sats still get them?

They will get them, but they will most probably ignore them. If they had stated clearly that they do not accept rush SATs, they will not accept them. Haha, why?

If you send rush scores, doesnt the college board send them by paper first, and then electronically? That might be why, but I am not positive

I have a friend who didn't send her SAT scores on time to a college that doesn't accept rush reports. Her solution was to send a regular score report and also fax a SAT score report copy to the college. I don't think she didn't have any problems with this.

"Germans88" you should change your screen name or just log off and commence burning books you wannabe nazi.

"Germans88" is to much of a coincidence with Germans next to 88 or more commonly known as the symbol meaning "heil hitler." I really hope that you don't get into any college.

well aren't we using the jump to conclusions mat

Of course there's no possibility that he's a German who was born in 1988. He must be a Nazi.

yea, so arsenalultra, German in Russia is actually a pretty popular hebrew last name; happens to be me my last name, and yes I was born in 1988.

And I learn something new.

randomperson (on CC) got into Harvard EA without sending a score report. Clearly, not sending increases your chances.

Y'know, overanxious kids absorb these words like a sponge. Watch, this'll be a new trend.
