Is it too late?

Ive really became interested in apply to UF. The deadline was nov 1st, is there any chance they would accept me if i applied soon? I dont want to apply and have no chance and lose my money.
I would like to apply for Summer term.

Barring exceptional stats and grades, don’t even waste your time and money.

The term you apply for doesnt matter. And if you miss the november 1st deadline, your accepted on a space-availability basis and I believe my school counselor told me less than 500 kids got accepted that missed the deadline, but you never know unless you try, just know that your chances arent the best.

In actuality, the number of available “late spots” is under 100 and the late applicant pool is in excess of 4000. Not the best of odds…

Okay guys thanks. How is the transfer application process?

I’m sorry that you missed the deadline. The transfer admission process is very smooth. Just remember that unlike other Florida universities like FSU or UCF, it is REQUIRED that you have an associates degree when transferring to UF. If you don’t already know, an AA is 2 full years of college. Even though you are at a community college (or “state college”) you will still be completing prerequisites for your major at UF, so have a plan on what classes you are going to take and make sure that you speak to your college advisor & a UF admissions ambassador. So many people don’t realize that you need to take prereqs or they take the wrong ones. Doing so can delay your AA degree completion by a semester or more because UF will not accept you without the correct prerequisites for your major.

Good luck and remember to keep your grades as high as possible! When you’re having a hard time staying motivated just look at a picture of The Swamp and tell yourself that you will earn your way there!

Unlikely. I think i read some place over 7500 applications are late. And only about 70 are checked.

Corn hole in toothpick, You have proven my point and a late application is a death sentence
