Is It Too Late?

<p>My freshmen year, I screwed up becuase I found out my parents were never getting back together and I'd never see my dad again. My counselor wrote about this in my LOR, so I decided to not write a letter explaining my low gpa (in comparision to 4.0s next two years). </p>

<p>But now I'm having doubts, and I wrote up a letter explaining my situation that year. Is it too late to send it in and have it read with my application by an admissions officer (and have it actually impact anything), consdering there are about 18 days left.</p>

<p>Or should I just send it after the 15th, assuming I got deferred?</p>

<p>You can always add to your application, but there is no guarantee the information will be included if it is sent after the deadline.</p>
