So I don't think I have qualified for Early Response.

Is finishing my application by mid-November going to really hurt my chances? I have applied to the College of Engg.

Please please reply, good sirs.

Is there anybody out there?

They'll look at your application the same way as they look at anyone who applied ER, but the only disadvantage is you won't hear back until spring and by that time spots have been filled up so they may judge it with that in mind. If you're applying for like Ross pre-admit or the RC then it could be more significant because they have a set cap on admissions I'm not sure about ross but the RC does

To be honest, yes it is going to significantly hurt your chances, most people that get accepted apply ER.

Does it really hurt that much? I mean, I understand that applying after ER is a disadvantage (I missed the deadline by a few days), but is it a major disadvantage if you're a competitive candidate?

If so then I guess I'm screwed, but I'm hoping not.

I mean obviously if you have a 33 ACT and a 3.9 GPA you are most likely going to get in anyways even if you miss the deadline, but if you are sitting at a 27-29 ACT and a 3.7-3.8 GPA and you are borderline to getting in missing the ER Deadline really screws you over.
