I was wondering if it was to late to apply to any of the accelerated programs at BU ? (actually, specifically the medical programs) do I need anything extra to apply to CAS ? (other then SAT scores, supplement, commn app, etc…) BU was sort of a last minute choice for me thats why im completely clueless. (and their website doesnt help much either…)

sorry, but i think so. im deciding whether to accept yale or wait until hearing from princeton and harvard. med programs u can apply to are all the nj feeders into umdnj. these are great programs, i got family in them. think about it and let me know bc im thinking of doing the njit one :)

GAAH if i were u i would so accept yale with no second thoughts (i got defered) whats umdnj and njit? dont u have to live in nj ?

the application for accelerated med/dental was due december 1st, so yeah... it's a bit late for that. but you have a jan 1st deadline for everything else! :)

and i don't think you need anything extra (like sat ii's) for general studies. i know there were SPECIFIC SATII's you needed to take for accelerated medical/dental but that's about it, i think? look on the website! it tells you if you need SATII's for specific majors and stuff. sometimes, the SATII's can be waived with an ACT+writing score.

It might be possible to transfer once you get in.
now as I shamelessly endorse my essay thread :

well my parents make about 750k a year, (they both doctors) so i dont really plan on having to pay 50000 a year for undergrad at yale. i need to save up for med school, too...:)

no u dont have to live in nj, but i do now. i used to live in ny and went to a private school there and so did the rest of my family- so i had family connections there and also at harvard and yale. i guess i got lucky
