Is it too much?

I'm giving my teachers/counselors who wrote my letters of recommendation these cute handmade cards. But would it be considered inappropriate/too much if I gave them a tiny flower in a pot too?

I thought it would be cute and symbolic because flowers are well, pretty, and they have to be maintained in a certain environment in order to blossom. So I thought it would tie in together quite nicely. But I don't want to give it if it'll seem like too much and make things awkward.

I already had all of my applications sent in, so it's not like it could accidentally be considered as a bribe or something. I just think flowers are the coolest presents ever, but Im hoping they'll think the same thing.

What do you think? To give or not to give. That is the question.

I think it sounds very nice.

:)

^ Agree. 2nd vote for “very nice”.

Great idea. I think your gift would be a nice token of your gratitude. No issue of bribery now that the recommendations have been sent.

thank you posters!

ok, haha three times= strike out. im going to the flower shop tmw! =D yay!

Because you sent the letters already, it would look okay to the counselors and teachers. It definitely would not look like a bribe at this point.

So do whatever you want.
