Is it true that getting 75% correct answers on any AP Exam results a 5?

Is it? and a 60% results a 4 and 50% is like a 3?

I have just now noticed that ‘75%=5’ in my pr physics book!! For some reason, I have always thought 60% was a 5. Please someone verify this. My whole AP study schedule depends on this… :(

The exact curve depends on the test, but 60-75% is the usual range.

Now if you think that means that you can get a 5 by only learning 60-75% of the material, you are wrong.

No I didn’t say that, I just mean that getting 25% answer wrong can still get me a 5…

Yes; in fact, on most of the tests you can get significantly fewer than 75% correct and still get a 5.

Actually, on Calculus BC, you may receive a 57% or so to receive a 5. For most, you must obtain between a 60%-65% to receive a 5.

It depends on the exam. Some are harder while others are easier. The chart below is for the APUSH exam and its only for the multiple choice. Remember, the essays are ranked from 1-9 I believe. So to get a 5 you need to get 71% correct of the multiple choice and 71% from the essays. Its a 50/50 type thing.
