Is it true that HPU accepts 84.4% of applicants?

High Point University, in my view, is definitely a sustainable enterprise. One can not deny that they have succeeded in providing a solid educational background to their graduates hence the fact that 92% of graduates have a job or are in graduate school within six months. Furthermore, their graduates continue to land strong positons and internships at companies such as Google, Microsoft, Goodwin Procter, and JP Morgan Chase; thus it is apparent that High Point is enabling students to achieve high level internships. Moreover, High Point is in the process of building a 40,000 square foot carrer center focused specifically on finding students jobs; not many colleges are that dedicated to graduation outcomes. Financially, I think the University will be fine. The article that brought up financial concerns is over two years old and is becoming outdated; HPU continues to grow every year with new students and an increased endowment thus leading to higher revenues therefore meaning a better financial status. While Duke and other ivies may be ranked higher, their creditability and affordability are slowly going away.

I think we can all agree that liberal art schools, such as High Point, that follow the principles of a values based education is the best place to send students. That is why I will gladly be applying to High Point next fall.
