Ok so Im applying to a nonimpacted major at ucla and have a 3.6 gpa from community college. I did one semester and got 1 d and 2 f's at a canadian university,Though, im not sure if the canadian grades will be counted in the gpa. Anyways. im TAP certified and applying to UCLA for a non impacted major, my alternative major is even more nonimpacted. I heard some people even get into ucla with a 3.2 gpa with TAP for nonimpacted majors. True?

TAP will INCREASE ur chance which is very high for non impacted.

TAP is not guarantee

TAG is guarantee

Heeeellll no, TAP is not a guarantee. It just adds weight to your application (so if your GPA is under the average admitted by .1 or .2, it will help with that sort of thing). Ask an admissions rep if your Canadian grades will be counted - they might be.
