Is it true that you can't really get an A in a Philosophy class?

'Cause I've been having trouble with the two papers so far. The first one I kinda meh'd my way thru it and got a B+. Thinking that was dandy n all, i worked hard on the second one, like actually consulting the various texts and whatnot, talking to gsi's and the likes, but still ended up with a b+.

I've heard this rumor before, and i thought that it wasn't too true. i love philosophy, but i need a good gpa for law school, so is it better if i don't take any more philos classes, but just drop in to the lectures?

My EECS friend go an A in a 4 unit lower div Philosophy class.

No look at grade distributions, people get A’s.

write better?
