Is it true?

I heard so many rumors about Vanderbilt. It is one of my top choices of colleges to go to. I was wondering if it is true that life is hard for minorities at Vanderbilt and that different races are not interacting with each other. If you are a current student at Vanderbilt is it true or just a rumor because I don't want to worry if it is not true?

well, i am not a racial minority, so i can't speak from personal experience as to how difficult life is as a member of a minority group. however, i can tell you that i have friends of several different races. i have noticed that there is a slight split between the student body...but its not such a huge difference that it would be unbearable...i had a superbowl party last week in which approx. 2/3 of those in attendance were of a minority...and we had a great time together (even though the bears lost... :( )! :)

Is anyone else getting tired of reading the exact same things... It's not true. If you want more details read any of the other threads in this forum b/c they all seem to host the same discussion.
