<p>It may be true that fewer males get 800s in critical reading but they take the same test with the same scale, it isn't "harder".</p>

<p>in general, guys are better in math&science, and girls are better in CR.
it has to do with the way our brains work. (its all biological)
of course, if one gender or the other works hard, he/she can be just as good at both sections.
and of course, there are exceptions. (I do horribly on CR but well on Math)</p>
<p>Heh, I feel more comfortable with the reading/writing sections than I do with the math sections. And I'm a math nerd guy! </p>
<p>Perhaps I'm just fond of reading erudite persons' thoughts and analyzing them : )</p>
