The question is "Is it true that the UC'S will dismiss my Bad Grades?"

So I did one semester at a Canadian University and got three bad grades, 2 F's and a D.
I came back to Calif. and have a 3.5 gpa at my community college. Will they just look at my community college grades? Anyone else have a similar situation?

So 119 people viewed my question, yet no one has a response… lol
119 people is like a huge lecture hall

UC’s will review your grades from every college you attended. You show to be doing well now and if you keep it up I’m pretty sure you can still get into a UC. They wont overlook the bad grades, and you might have to retake those courses.

You will most likely have to find the equivalent classes that you took at the Canadian university at the CCC and retake them. Otherwise those 2 F’s and a D are there to stay unless you already re-took those courses. But you should confirm.

They will not dismiss your bad grades. If you report your grades, and have not repeated the coursework, they will count the Fs and Ds in your GPA. Try to repeat the courses if possible.
