Is it Unweighted or Weighted GPA w/AP classes? Which one do UC's use for admission?

<p>I always thought Weighted GPA was the one with AP Classes meaning 1 extra point for a C or better. Which one is it? Do UC's use the weighted or unweighted GPA to determine their decisions?</p>

<p>For admissions eligibility only, it's capped. But for admissions by campus all gpas. The UC app reader has your: unweighted gpa; your weighted, capped gpa; and your weighted, uncapped gpa.</p>
