Is it useless to submit more than two SAT Subject Tests

Dartmouth Admissions site:
"We only consider your highest two SAT Subject Test scores (so long as they are from 2 different Subject Tests)."

Does this mean that they will disregard a third score (or fourth, and so on) so that it won't help even if it's good?

If all your subject test scores are good, I don’t see how it can hurt if you sent all of those scores in. It could even benefit you if you’re consistently in the 700s or 750+ range. It could show your broad understanding in a variety of topics.

If i had 3 scores 800 800 and 750, I would only send 2 the first two

Agreed ^. But if I had 750, 760, 750 I would send them all. If the scores are similar just send them all; can’t hurt. If one is noticeably lower then just send 2…

My D sent all three 760-790. she was accepted as 2015s. so don’t worry if you feel all scores are good, send them all.

follow the directions and send two… if two are the same then send both if you must… personally I got two the same and just chose the one I valued more/added to my app.

Subject tests overall aren’t that big a factor in the admissions process (unless your scores are either glaringly low or glaringly high). So, If you have like 720, 730, 730, 740 for subject test scores… it doesnt really matter how many more you send (it’s not going to make a difference if you send all of them or just two of them)… just send the highest two (or, in this case, pick the 730 subject you like more).
