i think there was some sort of an error in the SDSU system...my stats were above the avg. I would fight it if i didnt get in anywhere else, but i just dont care enough at this point. just thought it was weird...wouldnt you agree?

i got into ucla, ucsb and ucsd but rejected at SDSU

.....pressed enter too soon...

i knew i wud get rejected tho cuz i got like 500 emails from them saying my application was incomplete, but i just ignored them :)

they obviously had some problem with your application, possibly not understanding a class or connecting a class with the requirements. There is no way they would have rejected you if your stats got you into the UC's you listed. Had you called you could have straightened it out, but it sounds like there is no need to since you seem to have applied as a safety and that is no longer needed

i'm sorry, but the whole SDSU application process is f***'d up

hopeimnotregcted--it also depends which UC you are talking about. It would be shocking if you were accepted into UCLA but not SDSU....however, if you are talking about a less prestigious UC such as UC Merced or UCR, it would be less unusual. It also depends on what major you applied under...the international business program is ranked 7th in the nation and the rest of the business program is strong as well. Good news: it is really easy to transfer from a CC to sdsu if you really want. I would go to the UC if I were you, however.

UCSB...i mean i never really wanted to go to SDSU i just think its weird that i got rejected from there and into UCSB...i applied undeclared to both btw. i seriously think it was like an error in their system...w/e it dosent really matter now

I remember that one person on this FORUM told me I was lucky that I got into SDSU (with a 3.3 W GPA and a 1970 SAT). He also said that UCSD was a great reach for me. I ended up getting accepted at UCSD... and CAL POLY SLO and others. Well, i'm turning down both UCSD and SDSU, to go to UCI. Z O T Z O T

I believe SDSU is more selective than both UCR and UCM. UCSB is a different story, though.

I got rejected everywhere except UCSD. SDSU has a good journalism program I heard.
