Is it weird to apply for different majors for different schools..

I'm really interested in studying either English or art history...
I have all art history major prereqs finished (this goes for all of the UC's prereqs) and some of CAL & UCSB's English prereqs done..

When I apply this fall it would look like this...
CAL- English
UCLA- Art History
UCSB- English
UCI- Art History

Will this look really bad ): ?

Thank you!

It’s absolutely fine, as long as you can find the way to connect both majors in your personal statement :)

I did the same thing but with philosophy and art history at different schools.

@sparkyboy: thank you for the tip~
@liek: and how did that go for you? :D

I am planning on doing the same thing. I have pre reqs met for engineering and math, think I might apply as a Math major then double major as computer science. Less competitive that way I think…

you’re even with English and Art History. It doesn’t look bad at all.
good luck! :)
