<p>This reminds me that I had to write a Valentines card for someone in my Spanish class as part of our “Secret Santa” project. I got a guy, which was a blow since I was planning on just whipping out a cheesy love poem in 5 minutes. Friend cards are so much harder to write.</p>
<p>I ended up writing a cheesy love poem anyways. But in my case it’s okay since it was obligatory. Otherwise, the opposite sex almost always suspects something when you hand them a card out of the blue.</p>

<p>It’s best to recognize what your feelings are, even when you’d prefer that they were different.</p>
<p>Cards are a little flirty, unless you were aiming for that, or unless she’s a really good friend of yours. People give out candy and that sort of stuff to friends in my school.</p>
